Banner on Tuna Catch in the Pacific
Greenpeace activists Sakyo Noda and Danny Holland stand on juvenile yellowfin and skipjack tuna in the hold of the Philippine mothership Kenken 888 holding a banner which reads in Korean "Stop overfishing Tuna". The vessel has transferred the catches of six purse seiners at sea over the past month and was documented with a pirate purse seiner in close contact. Yellowfin and bigeye tuna are suffering from overfishing. Greenpeace is calling for the pockets of international waters between Pacific nations to become marine reserves.
