Crew of Taiwanese Longliner Talks to Activists in the Pacific
A crew member of the Taiwanese longliner Ho Tsai Fa 18 talks to campaigner Sari Tolvanen while she approaches the vessel to inspect its catch. The activists concluded that the fishing vessel is contributing to the overfishing of bigeye and yellowfin tuna and sharks between Papua New Guinea and the Federated States of Micronesia. Greenpeace is calling for these pockets of international waters between Pacific island countries to become marine reserves.
