Greenpeace activists today entered the “Veneta Legnami” sawmill in the city of Carbonera. Greenpeace is protesting against the processing of large amounts of timber from the rainforests of the Congo Basin in Central Africa. Activists climbed the roof of the sawmill and displayed banners reading “Save the Ancient Forests” and “Forest Crime”. Here a couple of activists have dressed in the Ent costume.
