Greenpeace activists have staged a number of peaceful demonstrations around the world in support of the 'Arctic 30.' Twenty eight Greenpeace International activists, as well as a freelance photographer and videographer are all aboard the Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise, currently held by the Russian authorities.
