The Greenpeace thermal Airship A.E. Bates flies in an effort to protect Alaska's Bering Sea canyons. The airship was sporting a 75 foot whale-themed banner urging Alaska residents and the North Pacific Fishery Management Council to help protect the "Grand Canyons of the Sea" as the NPFMC was meeting in Juneau to consider.
