Point Barrow in Alaska
View out over the lagoon (sea inlet) from Pont Barrow. Barrow is the most northerly point in the United States and juts out, splitting the Beaufort and Chukchi seas. The lagoon is starting to freeze in the beginning of October, a month before the end of open water drilling season.
