Arctic Oil Drilling Action in the Netherlands
The inhabitants of the city of Wassenaar near the Hague, witness Greenpeace activists acting out test drilling activities of oil company Shell in the front yard of the town hall. The environmental organization protests against the intentions Shell has to start drilling in the Arctic. Greenpeace states: Shell tries to pump the last drops of oil out of the earth; in the middle of a city this is not acceptable but in the fragile Arctic region it is not a problem. The neighbours of the town hall were informed by a letter about these plans of the oil company.

Shell Start Proefboringen in Nederland
