Solar Energy Training in Senegal
After some explanations of Philippe Ahodekon (in red), the scouts continue to assembly the various elements of the solar panels.
Thiès is a city in Senegal, 70 km from Dakar. Thiès is known for peanut trade and tourism. For two days scouts from Dakar participate in a solar energy training. During these days they discover that the renewable energy sources, particularly solar energy, can change their life in a positiv way. They learn how to get current with solar panels to light up a house.
The training is organized by Greenpeace Senegal and the Youth Support Service of Greenpeace Switzerland.
