Greenpeace volunteers protest, outside the Veltins Arena auf Schalke, for the release of the "Arctic 30". The football club Schalke 04 is sponsored by Gazprom. Schalke fans are asked to sign a petition before the Champions League match against Chelsea starts. Banners in English and German read: "Schuetzt die Arktis - Lasst unsere Aktivisten frei!" ("Save the Arctic" - "Free our Activists"!).
