Greenpeace volunteers create an 'I Love Arctic' human banner in Oberhausen.More than 17,000 volunteers from around the world have come together in over 200 cities to form human banners which spell out ‘I Love Arctic." The activists are demanding that political leaders protect the pristine Arctic environment.

Im Oberhausen haben Greenpeace-Aktivisten ein Menschenbanner gebildet. "I love Arctic" lautet das Motto eines internationalen Aktionstages, mit dem am Samstag Greenpeace-Aktivisten in über 60 Städten in Deutschland ein Zeichen für den Schutz der Arktis gesetzt haben. Gemeinsam mit Bürgern und Bürgerinnen haben die Aktivisten große Menschenbanner in Form eines Herzens gebildet. Mit den weltweit entstandenen "I love Arctic"-Fotos sollen die Arktis-Anrainerstaaten zu größerem Engagement beim Schutz der Arktis aufgefordert werden.
