Reef Investigation in Apo Island
Researchers from Silliman University study the reef of the MPA (Marine Protected Area) at Apo Island devastated by Typhoon Pablo in December 2012. The divers, together with Coastal Conservation and Education foundation and Greenpeace are surveying the massive coral damage in Apo Island due to unprecedented extreme weather events. The documentation of Apo island reef is one of the activities Greenpeace has taken part in during her tour in the Philippines.
