Wood Stove Construction Training in Kinshasa
Assimbo Crispin, Youth Campaigner Greenpeace Africa, explains the efficient wood stove.
Between the 8th and 20th October, 42 volunteers learn all the techniques to construct and use efficient wood stoves made of clay. The volunteers come mainly from two semi-rural areas of the city Kinshasa. The efficient wood stoves are made of clay, straw and cow dung. All ingredients are sustainable and have a positive effect on the development of the site. The workshop is organized by Greenpeace Africa and the Youth Support Center of Greenpeace Switzerland.
