Turkish parliament members CHP (Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi, Republican People's Party), join Greenpeace supporters on the 22nd day of protest outside the Russian consulate in Istanbul.

Greenpeace is holding an ongoing vigil to demand the release of the 28 Greenpeace International activists, as well as a freelance videographer and photographer, who have been charged with piracy by a Russian court. The charges follow a peaceful protest against Arctic oil drilling at a Gazprom oil platform in the Pechora Sea.
