Four Greenpeace activists ride bicycles to the communities living within a 30km radius of the Kori Nuclear Power Plant, the oldest such plant in South Korea. The activists hold banners showing the distance from the plant to the community, together with high school students and local co-op members. The bike ride ended at Haeundae beach in Busan. The four activists have been charged due to their protest activity on Gwangan Bridge (also called Gwangandaegyo) on the 9th July to raise public awareness of the dangers of nuclear power and call for an improvement of the current nuclear emergency plan.
