Francesca Vanthielen in the Arctic

Actress and television host Francesca Vanthiele looks at some photos of the Blomstrand Glacier in front of the glacier itself. The photo on the top was taken in the 1920s, the one below it was taken in 2001 and shows how much the glacier has melted due to climate change.

The Arctic Sunrise is on a month-long expedition in the icy Arctic. Greenpeace is campaigning for a global sanctuary to be declared around the uninhabited area of the North Pole.
