Forest School in Bailique Archipelago
The Greenpeace crew of Rainbow Warrior ship visited the Bailique archipelago, 160km far from Macapá municipality, to promote the Zero Deforestation campaign. The 9,000 inhabitants live from fishing and açaí extraction. The local school named Escola-Bosque which 1,160 students have environmental classes and practice activities related to the reality of the forest.
