Greenpeace activists protest at the Sandton iStore. Activists place stickers throughout the store which read “CleanOurCloud.com” The activity is part of a global day of action at Apple stores around the world. Greenpeace played off Apple’s “genius bars” by setting up their own “Supergenius bars," where people were encouraged to take part in the campaign. Greenpeace is calling on Apple to power its massive data centres with renewable energy instead of coal.
