Brazilian Embassy Action in The Hague
Greenpeace activists deliver a flag to a representative at the
Brazilian embassy in The Hague ahead of President Dilma Rousseff decision on whether or not to veto a controversial new Forest Code for the country. The flag reads "Desmatamento En Retrocesso" (Deforestation and Degeneration) instead of "Ordem e Progresso" (order and progress). If passed into law, the new Code will drastically reduce forest protection and drive up deforestation. The activists also display a banner reading "Dilma, veto the forest code".
