Fredrick Lam is a popular social activist and columnist from Hong Kong with numerous regular columns in Hong Kong newspapers. Fred is joining Greenpeace on the Arctic Sunrise to see this pristine region for himself, to learn about the ecology of the Arctic and to find out more about vital sea ice research. She is part of an international crew currently on a month-long expedition in the icy Arctic. Greenpeace is campaigning for a global sanctuary to be declared around the uninhabited area of the North Pole.
