A coalition of NGOS are suing Brazilian government for the lack of actions to stop and combat the deforestation of the Amazon during the last two years, when the rates of deforestation increased at a historical level. The document submitted to the Court points at infractions in the rights of Indigenous People and traditional communities, and also at the rights of present and future generations.

Uma coalizão de ONGs está processando o governo brasileiro pelo abandono dos planos de combate e prevenção do desmatamento na Amazônia nos últimos dois anos, quando as taxas alcançaram recordes históricos. O documento submetido ao Supremo Tribunal Federal aponta infrações aos direitos dos povos indígenas e comunidades tradicionais e, também, aos direitos das gerações atuais e futuras.
