Sixty Greenpeace activists and Dutch celebrity Sophie Hilbrand aim to prevent cargo ship 'Flecha' from unloading a shipment of Amazon soya in the Amsterdam harbor, as a protest against the large scale destruction of the Amazon rainforest to grow soya to feed cattle in Europe. Greenpeace demands Cargill to stop this process. Activists painted "Forest Crime" on the 'Flecha' and Cargill silo's and put up banners on cranes. Activists blocked the unloading of the ship 'Flecha', coming from the Amazon rainforest and ready to dock in the Amsterdam harbor, by chaining themselves to the cranes of the ship. American multinational Cargill is a world leader when it comes to Brazilian soya and it shouldn't participate in the destruction of the Amazon rainforests.
