Greenpeace activists board a moving bulk freighter carrying coal destined to Kingsnorth power station in Kent and climb on the huge E.ON-branded funnel and the towering foremast, demanding that the cargo turns back. Coal burning is the greatest threat to our climate, accounting for over 40% of all fossil fuel CO2 emissions. The action is carried out to protest against the use of coal and against E.ON's plans to build a new centralised coal fired power station in Kingsnorth.
