Actions are carried out in UK, Italy, USA and Thailand to protest against Thai Union Group, a Thailand-based producer of seafood-based food products. John West, Mareblu and Chicken of the Sea are all packaged seafood companies owned by Thai Union Group who has been implicated in significant human rights abuses and forced labor at sea as well as greenwashing its record on ocean sustainability as, despite its claims, the company uses destructive fishing methods that unnecessarily kill marine life like turtles and sharks.
