On behalf of all Greenpeace staff, activists and photographers, two Greenpeace activists place a banner on the Maldives seabed reading "Thanks John, From the Bottom of Our Oceans!"

John Novis is retiring after 26 years within the Greenpeace photography community. He became the head of the Greenpeace International Picture Desk in 1998.

This collection also includes some of the many images John has created over the years. Thank you John!
