Greenpeace releases a new report, ‘How KFC is Junking the Jungle.' The report exposes how some KFC packaging, which is produced by Asia Pulp and Paper (APP), uses timber from the rainforests of Indonesia, home to endangered wildlife such as the Sumatran tiger.
Forensic testing in three markets – UK, China and Indonesia - repeatedly confirmed the presence of rainforest fibre in numerous packaging products, including the famous chicken bucket.
