Greenpeace launches the report: “Toxic Threads: Under Wraps. Exposing the textile industry's role in polluting Mexico's rivers.” Investigations have revealed the dumping of industrial wastewater containing toxic and hazardous chemicals from two of Mexico’s biggest textile manufacturing facilities, which supply clothing to big fashion brands, including Levi’s.
