22.01.2019: Greenpeace activists demonstrate near the coal fired power plant Niederaußem with a symbolically burning thermometer for a better climate protection. The temperature display of the thermometer shows 1,5 degree Celsius. With this action Greenpeace hints at the obligation at the Paris climate protection agreement, to limit the global temperature rise to 1,5 degree. Germany also committed to this limitation.
