Eight Greenpeace activists are demanding better forest protection from Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Agriculture Peter Hauk (CDU) with a four-meter circular banner. They placed the banner with the inscription "You don't protect forests with chainsaws, Mr. Hauk" in front of the Ministry of Agriculture in Stuttgart this morning.

According to Greenpeace calculations, Baden-Württemberg ranks last in Germany with a share of 1.23 percent of strictly protected forests.
