With the projection of fireworks and the slogan "For a nuclear-free Europe!" on a cooling tower of the Grohnde nuclear power plant, Greenpeace activists demonstrate at night for more efforts in a European energy turnaround. The Grohnde reactor will be taken off the grid on Jan. 1, 2022, after 36 years of operation and 279 reportable incidents.
