Greenpeace UK activists present Boris Johnson with a green hard hat, a copy of Greenpeace’s manifesto for a green recovery, and a new report highlighting that a green economic recovery could create 1.8 million new green jobs in industries, such as energy, transport and housing.
The presentation took place as the Prime Minister arrived at The Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Technology at Dudley College to deliver a landmark speech detailing how the government plans to revive the economy following the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.
