Shoot: Protest against State Subsidies for Polluters and Corporations in Czech Republic
GP1STZ4G
The Czech government applauded nurses and medical doctors for being in the frontline during Covid-19 crisis but now it seems that the real support is reserved for the multinational organisations and big polluters. Greenpeace Czechia organised a protest against the debate about Smartwings airlines bailout and the governmental promise of financial subsidies for building new nuclear power plants by ČEZ. Money is urgently needed elsewhere - to tackle the climate emergency and to help the people endangered by the economical crisis. The message of the satirical happening was: Money to the people, not corporations. Big companies should be okay if we just applaud them.
