About 100 Greenpeace activists from 6 different countries enter the nuclear power plant area of Beznau. With a spectacular climbing action they demand the immediate shut down of the 45 years old power plant, for which Greenpeace claims several safety deficiencies.
The activity is part of a global action across Europe, where 240 Greenpeace activists have taken part in protests to highlight the risks of Europe’s ageing nuclear power stock.
