Shoot: Farming And Grazing in the Galilee Basin

GP0STOZ6E
Greenpeace traced the path of export coal in Queensland from the Adani Carmichael proposed coal mine site, along the proposed rail corridors, to Abbot Point Coal Terminal. Along the way interviews and testimonials were gathered from people in the region about the impacts the potential expansion of the Galilee basin will have on their lives and livelihoods. The Carmichael mine could be one of the biggest coal mines in the world should it go ahead and Abbot pt coal terminal expansion would see it become one of the biggest coal ports in the world, at a time when the world needs to move from fossil fuels and stave off irreversible climate change.
