Shoot: BHP Coal Train Halted in Australia
GP02EDU
Greenpeace activists halt a fully loaded coal train after locking one of the activists into a metal box with a large slogan on the side reading: “Pollution Tax Collection Point” and fastening it to the track. The coal comes from BHP Billington's Mt. Arthur coalmine 10km from Muswellbrook, the largest in the Hunter Valley area. The protest aims to highlight BHP’s stance on carbon tax where the company seeks to dodge paying tax on pollution and fugitive emissions while claiming to support a tax on carbon.
