Greenpeace activists place “detox” stickers and display banners in front of the office of Li-Ning, a sport clothes company, during a company board meeting. Greenpeace is urging Li-Ning to go ‘Toxic Free’ and make a commitment to detox China’s rivers. The latest research into toxic water pollution released by Greenpeace International with a report called "Dirty Laundry 2 - Hung Out To Dry", reveals the presence of nonylphenol ethoxylates in clothing items bearing the logos of 14 global brands , including Adidas, H&M and Abercrombie & Fitch.
