Shoot: Forest Crime Scene Action in Sydney

GP02H0B
Greenpeace activists hang a banner reading 'Stop Illegal Timber' from a 50m crane and establish a 'Forest Crime Scene' at the Central Park building site in Sydney's CBD (Central Business District). In addition, the activists deliver certifiably sustainable timber to the workers to replace the illegal timber being used on the construction of the park. Investigations by Greenpeace have revealed that timber from the rainforests of Sarawak in Malaysian Borneo is being bought and sold across Australia. The organisation is calling for tighter legislation to shut down the illegal timber trade in Australia.
