Shoot: “Vertical Dance” on the EPA Building in Taiwan (Videos)
GP0STQI4C
Greenpeace activists perform a “vertical dance” on the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) building in Taiwan, to raise awareness on plastic waste pollution in the oceans. Eleven activists descended from the rooftop of the building, portraying marine creatures that are threatened by plastic waste.
It is estimated that over 8 million tons of plastic enter our oceans, which makes up 60 to 80 percent of all marine waste. Plastic production in the past 10 years has surpassed all plastic production in the past 100 years.
Greenpeace is calling for a phase-out of single-use plastics.
