Shoot: Kori Action Activists after Court Hearing in Korea

After their second court hearing, activists Reiyoung KIM, Myungjin CHOI and Jeongmin LEE talk about their current lives. They discuss the impacts of the legal battle on their lives and the dangers of nuclear energy.

Five Greenpeace Activists, Jun Ho LEE, Younghun KIM, Reiyong KIM, Myungjin CHOI and Jeongmin LEE are indicted by the Ulsan District Prosecutor's Office. The charges are illegal assembly and trespassing at the Kori Nuclear Power Complex on 13th October 2015. The activists engaged in a non-violent direct action to protest at the Kori Nuclear Power Complex. After arriving at the site by the inflatable boat, the activists peacefully held a banner. The banner displayed the message “No More New Nukes” in the Gyeongsang dialects.
