Chinese Celebrities, pop star Xiao Wei and Beijing novelist Chun Sue visit the Karuputan Nature Reserve in the Kampar Peninsula. Later the celebrities visit the village next to the camp Taluk Marati meeting the local community. They are in the area with Greenpeace activists who set up a ‘Climate Defenders’ Camp’, in the heart of the Indonesian rainforest on the threatened Kampar Peninsula. The Camp was built to bring urgent attention to the role that deforestation plays in driving dangerous climate change.
