Greenpeace activists protest in front of the entrance to the French Environment Ministry in Paris against the proposed ‘Coal Terminal’ in Cherbourg, France. Greenpeace is asking the minister, Jean-Louis Borloo, and the President, Nicolas Sarkozy, to not proceed with the realization of the project which would lead to four million tons of coal passing through the terminal, from Colombia to coal power stations in the UK.
