A number of Greenpeace actions are staged against the proposed conversion of 'Marsden B' coal fired power station in New Zealand. Activists protest at the power station as well as places which will be directly affected by toxins from the power plant such as nearby beaches. The power plant is station set to emit 2 million tonnes of climate changing carbon dioxide each year.
