Shoot: Action against Illegal Timber at Ministry in the Netherlands
GP01JJW
Greenpeace blinds windows of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality with illegally logged timber from Papua New Guinea. The reason is that the ministry seems to have developed a 'blind spot' for the import of illegal timber from the last ancient forests in the world. Earlier the same day, the activists protested at the timber company Emmerik. The company continues to trade in illegal plywood, despite having promised last year to stop. Greenpeace requests a lawful ban on the import of illegal timber.
*Earlier this day this action started by claiming the illegal wood at Dutch timber company Emmerik.
