Shoot: Beluga Chlorine Tour in Rotterdam

GP01OCI
The Beluga Chlorine Tour 1995 begins in the Rotterdam harbour. At the start of the Beluga Toxics Tour Greenpeace finds high levels of highly toxic organochlorine chemicals called Chlorinated Paraffins in sediments along the eastern edge of the North Sea in the Wadden Sea. The sediments samples are taken at the Rotterdam Harbour, the mouth of the River Rhine and in mud flats at Kaiser Wilhelm and Den Helder. The pollution is caused by the company Hoechst.
