Shoot: Action against Fuel Inefficient Cars in Austria
GP02001
Greenpeace activists climb the former Uniqua-building in Vienna whose façade is covered with a huge advertisement of a Volvo model that has a very high CO2-emission. The activists cover part of the ad with a panel reading “These cars kill polar bears!” to complete the content the way it is supposed to be. The car industry on regular basis violates advertising regulations by not mentioning the amount of CO2-emission of the respective cars in their ads.
