Shoot: Film Director Shekhar Kapur on the Himalayas

GP01ZVK
Indian film director Shekhar Kapur visits the receding Rohtang Pass glacier on the Himalayas with Greenpeace to send a message to the world’s leaders about the dramatic effects of climate change. Shekhar is interviewed for a live satellite broadcast shown at the premiere of the film "Age of stupid" in New York. The film, directed by Franny Armstrong, shows a scenario of a future world in 2055, devastated by climate change. Shekhar Kapur supports the “TCKTCKTCK” campaign, a global movement bringing together NGOs and community groups, for actions on climate change around the world on the run up of the crucial COP15 United Nations Climate Change Summit in December.
