The 'Amercentrale' in Geertruidenberg is a power plant from Essent that runs since 1952.
It runs mainly on coal but also uses gas and biomass as fuel. The two units supply 1.245 megawatt electricity and on a yearly basis they can provide electricity for about three million households.
