Shoot: Forests Action Palm Oil in the Netherlands

GP01J0A
Greenpeace activists put a huge shopping trolley in front of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature Management and Fisheries in The Hague in protest against the deforestation caused by our daily shopping. The 4 metre tall shopping trolley is filled with gigantic supermarket products from brands manufactured with controversial palm oil. The production of palm oil causes large-scale deforestation in countries like Indonesia. The last months consumers have sent over 13.000 sms messages to ask the government for products that will be free of palm oil. Greenpeace wants to offer these messages to Minister Verburg in the form of a 15 metre tall receipt.
