Masses of people from a variety of organisations gather in protest against hillside deforestation in order to grow GE Soya. Over 2000 people from Greenpeace, farming organisations, the Catholic Church and Universities of the region march through the capitol of the Santiago del Estero region with a new Agrarian Policy aimed at stopping the rapid expansion of GE Soya. A moratorium was declared to stop further forest destruction in the region for GE Soya.
