During New Zealand's first-ever shark awareness week, Kelly Tarlton's Sealife Aquarium organises an event to create attention to the campaign against shark finning. Celebrity ambassadors, along with the New Zealand Shark Alliance youth ambassador, are invited into the shark tank and Shark Alliance ambassador Jamie McDell gets the chance to feed the stingrays. Shark awareness week is promoted by the NZ Shark Alliance. NZSA is a group of organisations and scientists working together to ban shark finning in New Zealand and to protect sharks.
