Greenpeace activists block the waste bunker and climb into the transportation cranes at the AVR incinerator in Rotterdam. AVR is Europe's largest incinerator of household waste and is planning an expansion of the complex. Of most serious concern are the continuing emissions from the AVR incinerator of poisonous dioxins.
